American Diabetes Association Mission: To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

The American Diabetes Association leads the fight against the deadly consequences of diabetes and fight for those affected by diabetes.

• We deliver services to hundreds of communities.
• We provide objective and credible information.
• We give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.

The Sweet Sweat Color Run is an annual 5K race hosted by the Gamma Iota chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. This event is designed to spread awareness of diabetes in America as well as serve as a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. A portion of all race entry fees will be donated to the American Diabetes Association. All donations made through the charity link or added to the race fee will be donated.
