2024 Lincolnway 5K Race Description

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Cal-Wheat Fun Days! This will be the first event for the day! Saturday August 24th in Wheatland!

Lincolnway 5K, 1-Mile and Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run ~ Out and back! Fast and flat! This is for runners, joggers and walkers! Last Day to register online is Wednesday August 21st.

6:45 AM ~ Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration begins.

8:00 AM ~ Race Day Registration ends

8:15 AM ~ Kids 12 and under 1/4 miles run AND ~100 Meter Dash at baseball diamond field.

8:30 AM ~ 5K and 1 Mile starts at the same time. Starts and Finishes at the Wheatland Park. Fast, out and back route to the east of town on the old Lincolnway Highway.

9:45 AM ~ Awards Ceremony

Vehicle parking is at the city park, school parking lot, and surrounding streets.

All proceeds will go towards developing matching funds for a grant for our "Lincolnway Trail", which will be a multi-use trail that connects Calamus and Wheatland Communities by utilizing a section of the Historic Lincoln Highway.

The Lincolnway Run is the kick-off to many more events in the community for the weekend.

10:00 AM - 12 Noon ~ Bake Sale @ Calamus Public Library

11:00 AM ~ Line-up for 12 Noon Parade

NOON ~ Parade in Calamus

12:00 PM - 4 PM ~ Auto Club Cruise-In

12:30 PM - 3 PM ~ Kids games, bounce house, food vendors, petting zoo, basket raffle, pie contest

12:30 PM - 3 PM ~ Kids Pedal Tractor Pull

12:30 PM - 3 PM ~ Fire Dept Water Fight

5 PM ~ Cornhole Tournament @ Buck's Corner Downtown Calamus

7 PM - 12 AM ~ Band @ Calamus Downtown

Sunday, August 28^th ~ Calamus @ CALCO

10 AM ~ Church in the Calamus City Park

10:30AM - 1PM Fireman’s Deep-Pit Beef Dinner (Lunch)

1PM - 3 PM ~ CW Annual Alumni Baseball Game in Calamus
