NLF’s Big Steps for Little Friends 5K Run/Walk will be at Golden Gate Park.  Register to join the fun, ask your loved-ones to support the event, and help raise well-needed funds to sustain our programs. 

Support NLF!  Your Donations and Registrations Makes a Difference!  NLF was founded in 1975 by a group of parents and community activists who were committed to the idea of offering culturally sensitive childcare for young children in San Francisco’s Japanese community.  After much research and planning, the organization began with a single preschool serving 15 children.  Today, NLF has one combined preschool program site and an elementary school-age program site serving over 150 children each year.

Despite our reduced income from tuition, we remain committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment for our children to learn and grow.  With your support, we will be able to maintain the high-quality programs and staff that has defined NLF for the past 49 years.

$40 for adults includes an event t-shirt designed by Sumofish
$20 for children (17 years and under) and includes an event t-shirt by Sumofish

"Please Donate and Join our Fundraising Team by clicking the links below.  I/We Love NLF because..."  Share one quote or aspect of the NLF program you LOVE! (i.e.quote from child, parent’s perspective, love for an NLF teacher or activity)

SEND link to family and friends and ask that they donate and register to join your team!  They can join from anywhere in the world!  

 
One additional Participation Point per NLF family for every accumulative $100 donation/pledge received above the $100 minimum requirement.
