Starts in the river bottoms of Paradise and winds up along the back road to the Sardine Canyon summit. Beautiful views and scenery the entire length of the course. Gradual uphill until mile 5, when it gains significant elevation. Very doable though. The return trip is a much quicker pace. Plenty of aid stations, ports potties and volunteers. I’m an average runner at about 10 minute per mile, to give perspective. Looking forward to running again in this race next year. Big thanks to John and all the others for this great and fun event.
