Freedom Run (5K & 10K) - Saturday - May 4, 2024

Welcome to the 8th annual Freedom Run!

 

  • Timed Event
  • Finisher medal for each participant
  • First place trophy for overall male and female runners
  • Age group awards (first place)

 

This year’s event will take place at the Wesley Chapel District Park.

"The Freedom Run - The Race Against Poverty" is an annual run/walk to raise awareness for people living in extreme poverty. All proceeds for the run are given to build homes and other facilities for communities in desparate need. Thus far, The Freedom Run has built homes for families in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, the Philippines, and El Salvador.
