Basalt Education Foundation Turkey Trot

PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR 7th ANNUAL BASALT EDUCATION FOUNDATION THANKSGIVING DAY TURKEY TROT!

Our traditional Turkey Trot is back for another year and we can't wait to see you all again! 

Wednesday, November 22nd 12:00 p.m.
Online registration closes 

Thursday, November 23rd
8:30-9:15 a.m. Race day registration
9:30 a.m. BEF Turkey Trot begins!

Race Options
1 mile Fun Run
5K (3.2 miles)
There is no need to choose your race option in advance; see how you're feeling the morning of!

Prizes
Back again this year-  prizes for best costume and first across the finish line (kids and adults)!

Registration
You may register in advance individually $20 per adult, $10 per child
OR register your family (up to 5 participants) as a 'family entry' to receive a capped entry fee of $50

 If you register as a team/family entry - Please be sure to add your teammates by adding participants after you register the 'team captain'- click "add another" before you check out and select "Register teammate" for $0 additional.  Please do this for all adults and children up to a team of 5 people. Register in advance!  Pricing goes up the day of the trot! 
$25 per adult, $15 per child, $65 per family (up to 5 participants)

The first 70 adults and children to register will receive a Basalt Longhorns beanie at check-in on race day.

RAFFLE PRIZES! 
Thanks to our generous local business community - we have great raffle prizes from Blazing Adventures, Snowmass Creek Outfitters, and others! Each registrant will receive one complimentary raffle ticket with the opportunity to purchase additional raffle tickets through the online registration, or on race day!  You do not need to be present to win!

ALL proceeds go towards activities organized by the Basalt Education Foundation (BEF).  If you wish to offer further support to the activities of BEF, please consider a donation to the annual fund.  You may make a donation HERE. We thank you for your support!

Dogs are not allowed at the event for the safety of runners and volunteers.

Weather
This event is a rain, snow or shine event. However, if the National Weather Service or CDOT advise against any travel, we will cancel the event.  Check BEF for race day updates.

No Refunds
The BEF Turkey Trot does not issue refunds for the 5K or 1 mile fun run.
