29th ANNUAL EDMUND GANEM 5K ROAD RACE Sunday, May 5, 2024
- Registration – ALL runners MUST pre-register at https://www.raceentry.com/edmund-ganem-memorial-5k-runwalk/race-information. You can pre-register online. There is no race day registration. Bibs must be picked up before 8:50 am on race day. On race day, information or questions can be answered by Race Marshals and at an information booth.
- We will be using fully automated timing. The timing system will allow us to use a “rolling start” This allows us to start a large group of runners and still keep an accurate competitive timing for all.
- If you are eligible to win a prize (first overall female and male; first place, female and male, in each age category [0-10, 11-19, 20-29, etc.]), you will receive it approximately one-half hour after the end of the race when results will be finalized and announced. There will be a finisher awards for all runners and walkers that finish the course. Race times will be posted within minutes of race completion at: https://www.raceentry.com/edmund-ganem-memorial-5k-runwalk/race-information and on www.RaceEntry.com as well as at www.greystoneracing.net. Finalized times and Race results with age/gender group winners will be posted as quickly as possible after the final finisher crosses the line.
We hope that everyone has a safe, enjoyable day.

Ed Ganem Memorial Race
Each year the race has been getting better and better. I have run over 200 races. This race is considered a smaller race and an elusive town - meaning that this is the only race each year in the town. As the race has evolved, it gets more and more professional. The last time I ran this race it was well-organized. There were plenty of people on the course to help us know where to run. The course was challenging and very well-routed.
