Run and Beer Happy 5k/10k

Run and Beer Happy with our 5k/10k race ending with a finish festival full of local craft beer and food. The 5k and 10k will both start at 9:00am at the Prince William County Fairgrounds. Ample parking for all runners and spectators. Course and more information coming soon. All runners will receive an official race t-shirt and medal. Strollers and dogs are welcome!

The race is benefitting the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS). Every year NVFS helps over 35,000 individuals and families across the region to gain access to services needed to achieve stability and self-sufficiency. NVFS makes a large impact in the Greater Prince William community, serving over 9,000 individuals and 5,000 families during our last fiscal year. Through the following programs we were able to strengthen the Great Prince William community:

1. Early Childhood Education; includes Head Start and Early Head Start centers, as well as home visiting services.

2. Health & Well-Being; includes access to medical care and emergency food assistance.

3. Housing & Homeless Services; includes emergency shelter, rental and utility assistance.

4. Immigration Legal Services.

5. Mental Health Services.

6. Youth Initiatives; includes family reunification.

7. Workforce Development Services

8. Foster Care Services

*For those friends/family that only want to enjoy local beer after spectating, you can register them for the "Finish Festival Only" that would get them two beer tickets to use.
