Running with the Bulls - Alaska

Join us for the 22nd Annual Running with the Bulls FUNdraiser!

The race is offered as a 1K Kid's Fun Run, 5K Run/Walk or 10K run! This is one of the most unique courses you'll find, as it weaves through the pastures on the farm and past our herd of over 70 musk oxen. Participants are treated to majestic views of both the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain ranges, and get routed to sections of the farm not open to the public at any other time. 

The course can be described as moderate to challenging, depending on the distance chosen and personal goals. No part of the course is paved, and there will be sections with hills incorporated. That said, the race has had participants of all ages and skill level - all are welcome and encouraged to come on out and 'run' with the bulls!

Registration opens January 1st, 2024. 

Registration Fee includes access to the course on race day and a 2024 Running with the Bulls race t-shirt. All proceeds cover event costs, and help raise funds for our nonprofit organization.

DETAILS:

11:00AM - 1K Kid's Fun Run, open to children ages 0-7

11:30AM - 5K/10K Run or Walk, ages 17 & Under, $40 for ages 18+

Light snacks will be provided for all race participants.

VIRTUAL RACE:

We love our virtual racers! Participate from wherever you are, with any oxtivity of your choosing. It can be a 5K or 10K, and a walk, run, bike, hike, swim - whatever floats your boat! 

Virtual race participants will receive a 2024 Running with the Bulls t-shirt, registration fee includes cost of shirt, shipping, and the remaining proceeds go towards the fundraiser. 

Participants will have the option to share their progress with their fellow virtual racers if they choose! 

8/11/24 - 8/18/24, for all ages: enjoy completing your race at any time over the course of a week, starting off alongside the in-person race day on August 11th, 2024.
