Great time
As usual, the St. Leonard 5K in honor of Veterans was up to its usual effort after bouncing back from the Pandemic. The course had changed slightly perhaps making it safer by staying within the grounds. I wish it had not brought us back close to the finish line with still another 1/2 mile or so to go. It made me feel I was getting close, then suddenly I had to curve away to continue the course. Gave me a false sense of completion that I didn't care for. But the presentation, race and following breakfast was fun to have.
Walker
This is at least the third time our family has participated in the race; this year we had three runners and six walkers! Grandparents, five parents and four grandkids... Always a fun time, well organized, and a great breakfast! The Lammleins
Wonderful
This race was wonderful. The weather cooperated. The organization was excellent. opening ceremony was meaningful. The course was well marked, lovely neighborhood. And the cheerleaders - AMAZING!! Thank you St Leonard, I will be back every year.
