(race date estimated)Temple to Temple Run Race Description
The Pioneer Day Temple to Temple 5K race begins at the Provo LDS temple and treks through the beautiful streets of Provo city, past the BYU campus, and to the new Provo City Center LDS temple.
We invite men, women, and children of all ages and running abilities to participate! Walk the 5K with your family, or even while pushing a stroller. All members of the community are welcome.
As always, registration is 100% FREE. Prior to race day, each registered runner will receive a race bib, which you must wear in order to participate on race day. We have streamlined the process for participants to pick up bibs and t-shirts. T-shirts are available for a small fee.
We will be staggering start times due to the number of people that are participating. Groups that include participants pushing strollers, pulling wagons and those on scooters or using other wheeled forms of transportation, will be asked to wait until the majority of the runners and non wheeled participants have cleared the starting area. We are expecting over 8,000 people this year. Please help us to keep the course safe by following these guidelines.

Temple to Temple
This is a fun race, though it is PACKED & crowed full of people The course is down hill and family friendly. Be aware that there are people who push strollers, kids on rollerblades etc. It would be best to park at the finish line and have someone drop you off at the starting line. Go a the night before to register and pick up race bibs. Lines get long so bring a lot a patience for the registration process. It appears to be all voluntary so be nice to the staff.

PACKED with People but Family Friendly
This was a fun run - so many families with pictures of their ancestors pinned to the backs of their t-shirts. I had a fun time running it with my brother. One thing is that if you're going for PR - this is NOT the race for you. Around 10,000 people last year so you get caught in the crowds. On the upside, it's feels like you're in a video game running around, dogging people right and left. :)
It is getting better and better and it is fun and exciting
This is my 5th year of running. Even though I PR'ed last year, this isn't for it. You need to be careful not to run over people because of so many runners, walkers, and strollers. If you want to feel the excitement and energy, you definitely run this. Hey, it is cheap and even free too!
Fun running Temple to Temple
This race has a lot of people. But with a purchase of a timing chip things are a lot easier to manage when running. I love this race. I hope to keep doing it every year.
This run is Joyful!
I have run every year and it has such a joyful feeling running, especially if you run for an ancestor. It feels like they are there with you! The organizers are all volunteer and do a great job. I love that this is a great family experience, too. Make happy memories!
Participant
My son and I have run this race two years in a row it's a lot of fun but yes there are lots of strollers and rollerbladers and scooters. So be careful let's just say I passed a lot of people even though I still have not beat my son yet :-)
A joyful race!
The atmosphere at this race is so joyful with families and people running for ancestors, it feels like they are with you as you progress from the Provo Temple to the Provo City Center Temple. I have run it 10 times. And it is downhill most of the way!
Temple to Temple 5K
Not as much fun as last year in Provo.
so good!
A super fun run. If you want to get for a personal best then be right at the front because otherwise you'll be weaving and dodging (and maybe even hurdling, j.k. ;) ) small peoples and strollers or pull wagons. Such a nice and inspiring run through Provo's history! Thank you organizers/volunteers mucho!!
Provo, UT Weather
Last year the weather condition was Patchy light drizzle.
