Turkey Burner 5K Hinckley Race Description
The scenic race course loops Hinckley Lake within the Hinckley Reservation. Starting at the spillway, you'll follow winding roads through the trees, by the lake, near the boathouse, and finally to a downhill finish back around the spillway.
In addition to views of the local flora and fauna, you might see participants in their best Thanksgiving-themed costumes. (Turkey and cranberry suits welcome!)
The event includes special race categories as well as a best dressed turkey contest and music!
Race day registration opens at 7:30 am
Turkey Burner 5k Race and Walk takes off at 9:00 am
In addition to pre-burning Thanksgiving calories, the Burner benefits Running2bwell and its free wellness programs for people struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
