4.01k Race to Retirement!!!

In the United States, nearly 1/2 of American households have ZERO savings in retirement accounts as they reach retirement age.

Fidelity (the nation’s leading retirement company) and Utah Valley University’s 10-time National Champion Personal Financial Planning Program have joined forces to combat this problem and educate the public by hosting a 4.01k fun run to promote saving for retirement early and often!

April is Financial Literacy Month. This event helps us kick off Financial Literacy Month by helping families in Utah fix their financial future. Free “no pressure” financial coaching available on site to members of the community who want to know how to take advantage of their employer sponsored 401(k) accounts or how to start saving for retirement.  The Personal Financial Planning Program at UVU is ranked Top 3 in the U.S. and cultivates the next generation of financial planning professionals who will help individuals and families win the race to retirement.  Proceeds from the race help support the UVU PFP program in its mission to improve outcomes for households in Utah.

This race is built to promote, inspire, and help families learn about and fix their financial future. Come win the Race to Retirement, because getting your money right is no joke.
