KAYSO 5k Glow fun run/walk fundraiser

1st Inaugural Kalkaska Youth Soccer 5k GLOW Fun Run/Walk Fundraiser!

EVENING RACE AT DARK FULL OF GLOW FUN!

JUNE 3 2017 - KALKASKA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. 

RACE STARTS 8:45pm  |  PRE-PARTY 7-8:30pm

*REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 25*

PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE: CUSTOM RACE BIB, GLOW GEAR, GLOW IN THE DARK MEDAL

Race - Mile 1 markers in RED, Mile 2 markers in GREEN, Mile 3 markers in BLUE! 

*CHECK-IN: Participants will check in under the Pavilion (by Civic Center) to receive their bibs and glow gear.

*PARKING: Enter the KART Trail area from W. Kalkaska Rd. (across from the Kalkaska Church of Christ). Parking will be set up by the Baseball Dugouts. No parking on the dirt road area. Look for signs! 

Pre-Party events take place from 7pm - 8:30pm (details below). Race starts at 8:45pm - course will loop around the KART Trail and fairgrounds, starting and ending close to the Civic Center near the Kalkaska County Fairgrounds. 

This is a family friendly evening event! Also, please note that this is NOT a timed race, it is simply a FUN RUN/WALK 5K. We do have awards for top 3 finishers across the finish line however! Please wear your blue and white in support of Kalkaska Youth Soccer!

Pre-Party & Check in: 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Pre-Party includes:

*Participants will check in to receive their race bibs and glow gear

*Paint Station - Get "glow ready" at our glow in the dark paint station for any size donation

*Food & Drinks available for any donation amount

*FREE soccer games and activities to participate in before race!

*Prizes and Giveaways!

*Kids Dance Party

If you don't plan to join the run/walk - get your glow gear on and cheer on our participants from anywhere on the KART Trail! You can still join in on our Pre-Party events and support our Kalkaska Youth Soccer kids! Donations accepted as well with the fundraiser button above!

RACE 8:45pm

*Race begins at 8:45 - This is not a timed race, it is simply a fun run event

*Water stations available at each mile marker.

*Each participant will receive their medal after crossing the finish line.

*Trophies and bragging rights awarded to top 3 finishers across the finish line!

*Each mile marker will be marked with it's own unique glow colors along the way

Event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given for this event. Event will be cancelled if dangerous weather approaches (thunderstorms, ect)

This is a fundraising event for Kalkaska Youth Soccer to raise funds needed for new equipment, field maintenance, to help pay ref fees required for games, and other organization costs to continue providing youth soccer for our Northern Michigan kids!
