Deer Island Dash - Water For People 5K Race Description

The Deer Island Dash - Water For People 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fest will begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2019 on Deer Island, 190 Tafts Avenue, Winthrop, MA 02152. Participants will enjoy scenic views of the Boston skyline and Harbor Islands. Proceeds will be donated to Water For People.

Water For People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses, and governments.

KIDS FEST: Join us from 8AM-1PM for games, crafts, face painting, popcorn, touch-a-truck and much more!

We encourage all types of athletes and non-athletes to participate. If you have never run a timed race before, here is your chance. Walkers Welcome! All are welcome to participate! No dogs please.

We look forward to seeing you Saturday, May 4th!
