Race the Course 5K/10K Description

Join us for the 3rd Annual Lower Makefield Township "Race the Course 5K & 10K" on Friday evening, November 3, 2023. This event is open to all individuals and supports the Folds of Honor Foundation in their continued goal to provide scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members.

Unique about this event, it is run on the cart paths of the Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley, PA. This is very special as most golf courses never allow runners or walkers on the course. If you have never played golf there, Makefield Highlands is a beautiful property residing on the former Pleasant Valley Estate Farm with history traced to the early eighteenth century. The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be contained mostly on the flatter front 9 holes of the golf course, while the 10K will start on the front 9 but finish on the back nine holes of the golf course which has a few more challenging hills.
